Join us as we commemorate the 5th Anniversary of the Colorado Freedom Memorial's dedication and honor many other significant 2018 anniversaries. The 120th anniversary of the first Colorado veteran killed in action; the 100th anniversary of the end of WWI; the 65th anniversary of the end of the Korean War; and the 15th anniversary of the start of Operation Iraqi Freedom, among others. We'll begin at 8am with a pancake breakfast and displays on the CFM grounds followed by our official Colorado Remembers Ceremony at 10a. Highlights of the ceremony include raising a Merchant Marine flag to join the other service flags, unveiling of the granite repository that will house the soil presented at last year's ceremony and music from the Sound of the Rockies Men's Chorus. At 11:30a activities move back to the CFM grounds with a mobile museum display from the Rocky Mountain Vietnam Helicopter Pilots, a performance by the Beverly Belles and military vehicle displays among other things.
