Lady Romeo (“RO-MAY-O”) is made up of friends and students who met through their studies at CU Boulder’s School of Music (and Music Education) and School of the Arts. Hailing from Boulder and Lakewood, Colorado, and Florida, each band member possesses an authentic color and style of creation that works together quite charmingly. Members include Gerald Robinson (guitar - production), Asha Romeo (vocals), Jack Rockwell (bass guitar), Rowan Woodbury (drums), and Chris Kerr (keys - production). Lady Romeo is an indie band with roots in classic rock and roll and soul and jazz music. What’s produced is a beautiful blend of neo-soul/rock/pop, with a common theme of dedicated songwriting and melodies accessible to any audience.
