Join SoulNia and Comal Heritage Food Incubator for an immersive taste of the roots and varied influences of soul food: the traditions that have crossed borders, the origins of ingredients, the considerations of health and nutrition, and and modern reinventions that honor the storied history of the cuisine. The teams from SoulNia and Comal will take you on an exploration into these themes through interactive cooking classes and sharing conversation over a meal together.

SoulNia is a vegetarian soul food pop up shop and private dinner catering company. We are a family business dedicated to re-defining soul food and preserving culinary history. SoulNia puts an emphasis on a colorful plate without sacrificing flavor.
Comal Heritage Food Incubator is a lunch restaurant + training program started by Focus Points Family Resource Center, a non-profit that serves families in the Globeville and Elyria-Swansea neighborhoods. Its goal is to provide skills in culinary arts and business as a platform for economic development to aspiring women- many originating from Mexico, El Salvador, Syria, Iraq and Ethiopia - to maintain and celebrate their traditions through entrepreneurial ventures.
