Description
Oct. 21-25, 2019 5:30-9:30 p.m. (the Gardens will close at 3 p.m. every day of Glow at the Gardens)
Event Details
The Gardens dresses up for Halloween with luminaria-lined pathways, spooky lighting displays and hundreds of carved, glowing gourds.
Using all real pumpkins harvested from local farms, our pumpkin artists push the boundaries of traditional pumpkin carving to create larger-than-life sculptures, dense displays of jack-o-lanterns and ornately detailed showpiece pumpkins. In addition to the pumpkin sculptures and creepy atmosphere, enjoy a wide array of activities, including:
Trick-or-treating – bring your own bag!
Fire performances
LED performers
Pumpkin carving demos from world-class pumpkin carvers
Halloween caricatures
Glow-in-the-dark games
Halloween carnival games
Hands-on crafts & coloring
Scavenger hunt
Seasonal food and beverages will be available for purchase at Offshoots Café, Hive Garden Bistro and our cash bars. Credit cards and cash accepted at all locations.
Virtual Reality Add-on Experience
Immerse yourself in a Halloween-themed world in our virtual reality adventure. Select from several different experiences that will transport you into a spooky, digital wonderland. Ages 5 & up; guests under 13 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. $8 per person.
NEW THIS YEAR: Free jack-o’-lanterns after the event
Want a free jack-o’-lantern used in the show? Stop by the Gardens on Saturday, Oct. 26 from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. to take home as many as you can carry while supplies last. Gardens' membership or admission required for entry.
