Day of the Dead Cigar Box Altar Making, Sipping & Tacos!

Join Refresh Studios for a Dia De Los Muertos (Day of the Dead) themed event and make your own altar (ofrenda) using a cigar box while you enjoy margaritas and tacos from Bertha's Baja Bistro.

Cost: $50 per person or 2 for $90

Each participant will receive:

One wooden cigar box
Supplies needed to decorate your altar (scrapbook paper, paint, flowers, skulls, beads and much more!)
Taco Box (grilled chicken tacos, carne asada tacos, or fried fish tacos served with salsa & house-made chips)
One drink (house margaritas, house wine, draft beer or soda)
You will need to bring pictures and objects to honor one’s ancestors (items that remind you of them.) Or you can also create an altar featuring historic figures like Virgin Mary, Frida Kahlo or Buddha. Look through old jewelry, junk drawers and other places for fun colorful objects that will make it interesting!
