The Colorado Brewery Running Series™ is teaming up with The Denver BBQ Festival™ for a one-of-a-kind 5k!
Join us for the Run for the Ribs 5k at Empower Field at Mile High on Sunday, June 19, 2022. This unique event will kick start the Father's Day festivities at the Denver BBQ Festival.

This run, walk, and jog will circle the grounds (parking lots and stadium apron) of Empower Field at Mile High. Followed by free access to The Denver BBQ Festival.
Start windows will be available at 8:30 AM & 8:45 AM.

BBQ is Back! The 4th annual Denver BBQ Festival is happening June 17 - 19, 2022 at Empower Field at Mile High. The festival will feature 12 world-class pitmasters from around the country, serving a wide variety of delicious BBQ items including brisket, pulled pork, seafood, chicken, bison, delicious sides, and of course... RIBS!
The Festival is free to enter (pay as you go) or pre-purchase a 2.5-hour all-you-can-eat & all-you-can-drink pit pass. With your Run for the Ribs 5k ticket, you will get a $10 off code emailed to you which will be good for either Sunday VIP Session (11:00 am - 1:30 pm or 2:00 pm - 4:30 pm)

Colorado Brewery Running Series Details
The CO BRS mission is to be active, have fun and give back to our local community. Since our inaugural Colorado event in 2016, we have been able to donate over $95,000 back to local Colorado non-profits (with over $250k raised to date nationwide). This event will add to that tally! 10% of all proceeds go directly to a local organization that will be onsite promoting their organization. So not only do you get to enjoy some healthy activity and great, local beer - you are helping us support local organizations that do important work in our community.
Important Details
This is an untimed, fun run. All levels of walkers, runners, and joggers are welcome.
This is an open course, meaning roads will NOT be closed. You are responsible for obeying all traffic laws and regulations.
You must bring a valid ID or driver's license. You do not need to be 21 to enjoy the event, but you must be 21 to enjoy the beer. Please drink responsibly. Registered, underage participants will receive a token for a FREE non-alcoholic beverage.
This event is rain or shine!
There will not be a bag check; please plan accordingly and dress appropriately for the weather.
Parking will be on-site in the NW parking lots at Empower Field at Mile High.
Is public transit an option for you? Take light rail to the Empower Field Station.
Dogs and strollers are welcome on the course, with care and caution.
Colorado Brewery Running Series and Denver BBQ Festival merchandise, including shirts, hoodies, hats, stickers, heat press brewery logos, drinkware, and seasonal items that will be available at the event.
Please drink responsibly. We always encourage carpooling and safe, designated drivers.
