Habitat for Humanity of the St. Vrain Valley (Longmont, CO)
Community & Government $
Established in 1988, Habitat for Humanity of the St. Vrain Valley is the local affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International and is in full agreement with that organization's Foundational Principles. HFHSVV is dedicated to providing simple, decent, affordable housing for low-income families in the towns of Longmont, Lyons, Dacono, Frederick, Firestone, Mead, Niwot, and Erie.
We are local people, businesses, civic groups and churches who are working side-by-side to improve the living conditions of deserving families who would not otherwise be able to own a home. While the tangible outcome of Habitat's work is a home for a hard-working family, the intangible benefit, which may have even greater implications, is the building of our community by bringing people together from all walks of life for a common purpose.
