Free range turkeys available this year! Should be a mix of birds from as small as 6lbs to up to 25lbs.
Event Details
Thank you for your interest in a fresh, pasture-raised turkey for your holiday meal. We are taking a non-refundable $20 deposit to hold a turkey in your name. What can you expect? We WILL have a bird for you!
We process the birds the weekend prior to Thanksgiving, November 20. Typically, Heritage breed hens weigh between 6-10 pounds, toms between 10-18 pounds.
We do have some double breasted birds this year, that might be in the 18-25 lb range (maybe even a little bigger, we'll see)
You MUST pick up your fresh bird at Long Shadow Farm, 101 Bothun Rd, Berthoud, 80513 on Saturday, November 19 between 10am and 5pm or Sunday, November 20, between 10AM and 5PM.
We will do our best to find one at the CLOSEST weight that you request.
