A Taste of Colorado

Running September 1-3 at Civic Center Park, Denver’s top art, food, and music festival of the season provides the perfect place to spend the holiday with family and friends. On Labor Day, you also can rock out to your favorite artists like Spin Doctors, Sugar Ray, Everclear, and Smash Mouth.

Jason Isbell and The 400 Unit

Speaking of rocking out, you can also catch another concert on Labor Day by seeing Jason Isbell and The 400 Unit if country is more your speed. They’ll be performing at Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre on Labor Day at 7:00 p.m.; tickets range from $39.75 to $60.75.

Colorado State Fair

Celebrate all the hard work you do by going to the Colorado State Fair on Labor Day, the last day to enjoy carnival rides and games, delicious foods, and live music and shows. If you like motorsports, the fair will have the Toughest Monster Truck Tour early Labor Day weekend on Friday and Saturday; there will also be a demolition derby on Saturday.

Colorado Rockies vs. San Francisco Giants

Baseball fans can spend Labor Day cheering on the Colorado Rockies as they take on the San Francisco Giants at Coors Field at 1:10 p.m. As part of a three-day series, the teams will also play against each on Tuesday and Wednesday at 6:40 p.m.
