All you mischievous little leprechauns out there, it’s time to don your brightest green outfits and get out your lucky shamrock because we’re going to help you follow the rainbow to your best St. Patty’s Day yet! Tampa is a pot of gold this weekend, rich with things to do to keep you busy and out of (or maybe into?) trouble. The city is going green, and we want to give you a head start on all the action. It’s also Spring Break for Tampa students, so expect the good times to flow like vibrant green dye down the Hillsborough River.
And let’s say, hypothetically of course, that you’re not one to use St. Patty’s as an excuse to act a fool and celebrate the Irish. Well, that’s okay (strange, but okay), because there are events happening where you won’t have to drink green beer and fake an Irish accent when you have one too many. But, be advised, there are still little rascals out there who take the green holiday seriously, and they WILL pinch you if you’re not at least fashionably participating. Don’t say we didn’t warn you!

O'Brien's St. Patrick’s Weekend
Brandon's best Irish pub brings the biggest celebration in East Hillsborough all weekend long! Live music starts at 6:30 p.m. Friday with Black Velvet Band, & continues into the night with Soul Circus Cowboys. Saturday sees even more live music, and for the big day Sunday gates open at 11 a.m., live music begins at noon, and a ton of entertainment options are added so be sure to get here early to beat the crowd, and the $10 cover charge starting at 2 p.m.! O'B's is your place to be when covered in green all weekend long!

Shenanigans Bar Crawl with Brunch & Party Bus
Start your St. Patrick's Day weekend activities with us as we visit three amazing bars before ending the bar crawl at the Mayor River O'Green Fest at Curtis Hixon Park. St. Patrick's Day Mayor's River O' Green Fest 2019
Join all of Tampa for the 8th Annual Mayor’s River O’Green Fest, on Saturday, March 16, 2019, beginning at 11 a.m. in Curtis Hixon Park. The Irish-themed party is centered around the Hillsborough River, which will be transformed into a bright shade of green for the occasion. The river provides a perfect backdrop to the celebration which includes live entertainment, games, kids activities, food trucks, and of course, beer!
Rough Riders - 2019 St Patrick's Parade
After the Mayor’s River O’ Green festival downtown, hop on the Streetcar and head to Ybor City for the annual Rough Rider’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade. Festivities will be taking place all afternoon at various venues leading up to the parade which will roll at 7 p.m. down 7th Avenue.
Slime Rodeo On The Bay
This epic event will be inside the Tampa Convention Center. Come see some of the industry's biggest slime-lebrities for meet-and-greet's, Q and A's, demos and more. Bring your own creations and compete in the "Slimey" awards and participate in various slime contests and activities.
