Medicine Horse Program

Description

Since it was founded in 2000, Medicine Horse Program has been making Equine Assisted Therapy affordable and accessible to the Boulder community. A $25 donation will help feed a rescued horse for a almost a week. With the help of our generous donors throughout the year, we are able to provide top level care to our co-therapists (the horses!) and keep costs low for our clients. The money you donate will go towards providing quality care for our horses (feed, hay, board, farrier and vet bills, facility maintenance, etc) and to developing new programs to benefit the community. So far this year, MHP has implemented programs geared towards veterans, children in foster care and group homes, LGBTQ* youth, people with eating disorders, people with developmental disabilities, groups for people recovering from alcohol and other drug addiction, and more.
