Curtis Park is located in Denver, Colorado. This area is one of the oldest parts of Denver, Colorado. Curtis Park is cherished by locals and immigrants because it gives everyone a break from the hustle and bustle of being downtown. The african american community sees Curtis Park as their own special place. The neighborhood of Curtis Park CO is socially active and a friendly enviroment. There are a variety of homes in the area including beautiful victorian houses. There is also a large community center. In the heart of Curtis Park you will find Mestizo-Curtis Park. This hot spot has an outdoor pool, playground, and tall beautiful trees. You will also find a soccer, tennis, and a baseball court. Curtis park can be accessed from Broadway, Downing Street, 23rd Avenue, and 38th Street. In the heart of Curtis Park CO you will find Denver's oldest and most well known catholic church, Sacred Heart. You will also find the Black American Western Museum. St. Joseph hospital is located only a couple blocks away. Every summer there is a lively festival called Juneteenth that fills the area with joy and laughter. When you visit the Curtis Park area you will also want to visit the Casino Cabaret where some of the best jazz musicians in the country have shows.
