Gold Bar Ranch is a Family Owned and Operated ranch nestled in the rolling foothills of the Colorado Rocky Mountains. With acres of pristine terrain, including steep mountain, open meadow and clear creek, Gold Bar horses and cattle are raised in a traditional ranching environment. From brood-mares to performance trained Quarter Horses, we provide top care, breeding, and training to all of our horses. We are proud supporters of Colorado State University's Equine and Veterinary Programs, and utilize their services to ensure health and well being. With herds of free roaming cattle, ranch work compliments the quality training and care given. Our cattle are naturally bred, raised and fed on the sprawling pastures, allowing them to enjoy the open acreage and natural comforts of Colorado. Around here, we believe in taking it "one ride at a time." This approach allows us to consistently maintain and refine the skills of horse and rider. The journey towards excellence is just as important as the end result, and we plan on enjoying every step! We are committed to cultivating a sense of community and support with our fellow horseman. Through clinics, ranch work and training, we bring you the best in quality training and education. Our facilities provide the ideal environment for our clinics and Western sporting events, as well as your personal events.
