Description
Join Denver Arts & Venues and Clique Studios in celebrating Denver Public Art's 30th anniversary and the launch of Denver Public Art's new website
Event Details
designed to encourage residents and visitors alike to explore the art that colors this city and puts Denver on the map for its unrivaled public art collection.
With more than 400 pieces and counting, Denver already is an art destination.
1% of all public improvement projects in the city go towards public art—more than $40 million so far. Let’s celebrate that by bringing the art community together to continue to support this mission. It’s been an honor to work with the city of Denver on this project, with the bold goal of making Denver the destination for art and artists. Denver Arts & Venues and Clique Studios are excited to share this first step toward making Denver THE destination for art and artists, so we are inviting you to join in our excitement—public art aficionado, art-lover, artist, Denverite, whoever you are.
At this event, you’ll…
Help put Denver on the map for public art
Drink Ratio’s craft beer
Eat light appetizers
Listen to live music
Interact with other cool people in the city
Experience the latest McNichols Civic Center Building's art exhibits
Meet influential artists and creators
Demo the new Denver Public Art website
Support Denver Public Art!
What’s this website all about?
Description: Born at Denver Startup week, this website was designed by the community through a collaboration between Denver Arts and Venues and Clique Studios (read more about that here and here). The goal was to create something that would enhance the experience of exploring public art throughout the city. After six months of designing and building, we are proud to unveil a dynamic, interactive web experience.
We’re so proud of how this project turned out. Public art is all around us—it colors our cities, enhances our communities, and even enriches our economies. This website helps further that mission, and spreads the word that the city of Denver is THE destination for public art.
