Live Band Costume Dance Party
On Saturday October 29th we're hopping in our time machine and setting the dials back to the 1960's.
Conjuring the musical energy of the Supremes, Martha Reeves & the Vandellas, the Temptations, Marvin Gaye, Sam & Dave, Otis Redding and many more, the band will be playing nostalgic hits from the Motown and Stax Records catalogue.
Leave your worries behind as we all sing, dance, and celebrate the undeniable, feel good vibes of these classic songs.
About the band
Ain't No Mountain High Enough (A Motown Stax Revue) is a 7 piece band featuring male and female vocals with horn section.
We stay true to the classic instruments, arrangements, and vibe of the songs but also veer off into something that might be more high energy or congruent with a band playing in this era.
Almost as if we were in an alternate universe where this music never happened and is just now being discovered and played live.
Our goal is to play these songs in a way that people who were there in the 60’s will remember it, while also being new, appealing and fresh for listeners of this generation.
