Our bluegrass is jazzy, our indie folk is poppy, our grooves are funky." Twisted Pine is Kathleen Parks on fiddle and lead vocals, Dan Bui on mandolin, Sartori on bass, and Anh Phung on flute. You may have caught Twisted Pine at Telluride, RockyGrass, MeadowGrass, WinterWondergrass. Their most recent release is the cosmic full-length Right Now [Signature Sounds Recordings], which The Boston Herald called "progressive bluegrass or maybe chamber folk, or prog rock, or jazz fusion or just pop with an experimental bent.
