Meet the Speaker
GINA FONTAINE, BS, CPT, CES
Gina Fontaine was the youngest child in a physically active family of 6 brothers and 3 sisters. She was impressed by her mother’s fitness and energy even after having 10 children and went on to model herself after her mother.
When Gina became pregnant in 2002, she became certified as a Prenatal Exercise Specialist and has guided many other pregnant women in small personal training groups at the Denver Athletic Club, as well as in Denver and Jefferson County Public Schools. During her third pregnancy in 2010, Gina also became certified in Anjali Restorative Yoga and added it to her prenatal and postnatal wellness programs.
Gina’s other training includes a B.S. in Kinesiology from Indiana University and two certification programs from National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM): Certified Personal Trainer and Corrective Exercise Specialist. Gina is also trained as a Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist.
Her Power of Pregnancy course is funded by Kaiser Permanente so she can offer it to school district personnel free of charge.
She envisions building even more partnerships to make Power of Pregnancy available to all pregnant women through a nationwide insurance funded program.
