Built in 1891, the Historic Elitch Theatre was a cultural hub for Colorado for over a century.
Originally the centerpiece of the Elitch's Zoological Gardens, as the amusement park grew around it, the citizens of Denver and thousands of visitors flocked to see the likes of Grace Kelly, Douglas Fairbanks, Robert Redford, Debbie Reynolds, and countless others perform on the historic stage.
Tours are offered on the first Friday of the month (two per night) throughout the summer to coincide with the Tennyson First Friday Art Walks.
